Specialized Disinfection of LAF Cabinets: Optimal Safety through H2O2 Atomization
The integrity of a Laminar Air Flow (LAF) cabinet stands or falls with absolute sterility. Manual cleaning of the work surface is often insufficient, as microorganisms can settle in filters, behind back panels, and within the internal air system. Why H2O2 atomization for your LAF cabinet?
A LAF cabinet is a technically complex system. Our hydrogen peroxide
atomization method is specifically designed to disinfect the entire
cabinet, including the HEPA filter system, without damaging sensitive components.
  • Total Reach: The fine H2O2 mist follows the cabinet's natural airflow. This ensures that plenums, fans, and the rear side of filters—areas often missed during manual cleaning—are thoroughly reached.
  • Preservation of Filter Integrity: Unlike aggressive liquids, dry H2O2 mist does not affect the structure of HEPA filters.
  • Validation and Certainty: The effectiveness of our method is measurable. We ensure a complete kill of biological indicators, providing certainty that the cabinet once again meets the strictest ISO standards.
  • Fast Re-entry: After the disinfection cycle, the H2O2 breaks down into nothing but water vapor and oxygen. The cabinet is safe to use immediately after treatment, with no risk of chemical residues in your samples.
